Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya World Heritage Fair
Date: 12 - 21 December 2008
Venue: Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Historical Park, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya

The fair will boast several interesting activities. The sacred relics of the Lord Buddha will be placed in front of Wat Mongkhon Bophit for the public to worship. Besides this, there will be Otop booths selling famous products from 16 districts of the province, an agricultural exhibition and a mouth-watering food fair.

A Thai country song singing contest, cultural perfomances, a beauty pageant are the other hilights of the celebration.

At night, visitors will be entertained with a spectacular light and sound show dubbed "Glory of Ayutthaya: The Great Kings who Declared Independence", a spectacular performance usually spread over 15 rounds, which will be played out over the 10-day period.
