Pattaya International Music Festival: 18-20 March 2011



The Pattaya International Music Festival celebrates its tenth anniversary in 2011.

Now regarded as one of the biggest international beach music festivals in Asia, it brings together a number of famous Asian and Thai artists and draws over 400,000 music fans from around the world each year.

Given the continued success of the event, The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) and the Ministry of Tourism and Sports will be hosting the biggest ever event during 18-20 March 2011.

Billed as the one music festival in Asia that welcomes and entertains over 400,000 music fans from around the world each year, this highly popular international music festival is regarded as “The Longest Beach Music Festival in Asia”.


The festival will take place on 18-20 March 2011 with performances on four concert stages:

  • Galaxy Stage located on Laem Bali Hai
  • Moon Stage on Pattaya Soi 4
  • Universal Stage at Central Pattaya
  • Reggae Stage at South Pattaya

Over one hundred famous Thai and foreign artists are scheduled to perform during the three-day event. Musical performances will feature different styles of music; such as, Pop, Hip-Hop, R&B, Rock, etc”. Additionally, there will be a number of famous Thai artists who have agreed to participate in the festival; such as, Da Endorphine, Golf-Mike, Potato, Palaphol, Calories Blah Blah, Paradox, Chin Chinawut, Ice Sarunyu, Namcha, Noona Nuengtida, Ge-on, New-Jiew, Aof Pongsak, Punch, Sweet Mullet, Ruj The Star, Singto The Star, Pek Palichoke, Blackhead, Bie The Star, Got Chakapun, Tai Oratai, P Sadirt, The Richman Toy, Modern Dog, etc.

Foreign artists who will participate include: A.B.C-Z, Kis-My_ft2, B.I.Shadow and Qestion from Johnny’s Junior from Japan, Derrick Hoh from Singapore, Super Kidz from Indonesia, PAK from Vietnam, Will Ng from Malaysia, Nina from Philippines; Tik Princess from Lao PDR and Rain from Korea.

The Pattaya International Music Festival aims to promote Pattaya’s image as a family beach destination and also as a city of music on the Eastern Seaboard. TAT, Pattaya City and GMM Grammy Public Company Limited have joined hands for the past 10 years in the staging of this international event.

An impressive line-up of highly experienced and specialized strategic promotional partners such as, Modern Nine TV, GMM TV, @-Time Media, GMM Broadcasting, Channel [V] Thailand, Sawasdee Station TV Programme, and TVB 8 (Hong Kong) are all extending their full support.

To promote the event, GMM Grammy Public Company Limited is working in cooperation with Modern Nine TV on the live broadcast and will also be producing 30-second TV and radio spots promoting the “Amazing Music, Amazing Pattaya” concept.
