Festivals in Thailand 2012

The colourful festivals of Songkran and Loy Krathong are well-known to tourists. However, Thailand has many more unique festivals that are not always found in guide books. Please contact us with news about your event.

Samui International Jazz Music Festival: 18-25 Sep 2011
Wednesday, 25 May 2011 14:28

For one week in September 2011 the air of Koh Samui in Thailand will be once again filled with Jazz Music. Koh Samui has gained it’s spot as international leisure and travel destination. People love to come here to experience the warm and welcoming hospitality on the island and to indulge themselves in the tropical lifestyle – and we are happy to spoil our visitors with yet another attraction: The Samui International Jazz Music Festival.

The festival has it’s origin in the successful Samui Jazz Series, which first took place in 2009 and from then on once per month on various locations on the island. We took the next step to put Koh Samui’s name on the international jazz roster – by creating a weeklong Jazz event. The first Samui International Jazz Music Festival in 2010 attracted music lovers and Jazz performers to come to Koh Samui and we are happy to let continue this event. The first step to connect Samui to the world of Jazz music has already be done and we hope that this festival will grow, so that Samui becomes a meeting point for other Thai and International artists to perform together, to share their love for Jazz and to let everybody be part of it.

The festival visitor will experience an exciting atmosphere and it will give each of them the unique feeling of really being a part of it.

Come to enjoy with us an unforgettable event on this beautiful tropical island 18–25 September, 2011!
