Paknam Web: Thailand Festivals 2010

The colourful festivals of Songkran and Loy Krathong are well-known to tourists from all around the world. However, Thailand has many more unique festivals that are not always found in the guidebooks but can be just as good. Some of the Thai festivals on this website are not even well-known among Thai people. If you are planning a holiday in the Kingdom of Thailand, then make sure that you check out our Festival Diary Dates.
Golden Mount Fair PDF Print E-mail

Things light up after sundown, with cultural shows and folk music scattered across the temple grounds' many stages. Treats both savoury and sweet can be grabbed at the array of food stalls and kids can hunt for fun toys on sale. Buddhists get the chance to pay homage to the relic of the buddha kept at the summit, where everyone can enjoy great views of the city by night. Admission to the fair is free.

It will be held around November.
