River Kwai Bridge Week: 25th Nov - 6th Dec 2011



Kanchanaburi province is celebrating the 30th anniversary of the River Kwai Bridge Festival and the 65th anniversary of the end of World War II.

The Light & Sound Show
"The War is Over...This is a time to Celebrate", the conceptual theme of this dramatic multi-media presentation, captures the vivid imagery of the tragic incident of 65 years ago. The light-and-sound show will be accompanied by music performed by a grand orchestra from a stage in the middle of the mighty River Kwai.

“Street Show” Space
The setting and decorative theme for this area adjacent to the historic River Kwai Bridge are designed to perfectly convey the event theme. The space is dedicated to captivating street show performances such as the Pantomime show by talented Babymine, the impressive beat box by Police Lieutenant Koravik Chandaen, and other shows presented by Kanchanaburi province.
